Duties and Responsibilities of the NOC Analyst

NOC analysts, also known as Network Operations Center analysts, manage and troubleshoot IP networks and devices. Many companies that use networked systems hire in-house NOC analysts to work on flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, and sometimes even on-call times. NOC analysts work both independently and as a team and report to the leaders of the data processing team. Travel is rarely required for this work unless NOC analysts are asked to travel between branch offices to manage the networks.
