Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) are executive-level employees who oversee the technical development and implementation of new technologies for a business or organization. Identify opportunities to exploit emerging technologies.

They work closely with development or IT teams to determine whether a particular technology or solution could benefit the business and can also make contracting and capital decisions related to the development and implementation of these emerging technologies.

Manage public relations

Lastly, CTOs are often the public face of your company's technology projects and developments. They organize and present press conferences to highlight new technologies or products offered by their organizations and manage negative publicity related to company technologies. In addition, many serve as a liaison between clients and their organizations, examining client concerns and integrating them into future development projects.
